GreenPages is a leading systems integrator and cloud services company focused on designing, implementing, and managing digital-era solutions that enable clients to successfully transform and operate in the hybrid cloud.
Since 1993, GreenPages has hosted their annual summit, Cloudscape, a three-day gathering for 100+ of their top midmarket and enterprise clients across multiple industries, including the financial services, healthcare, and commercial sectors. Held at a hotel in Portsmouth, NH, GreenPages needed to infuse both their company brand and the Cloudscape summit brand into the existing décor. With other industry events throughout the year that also require mobile branding, GreenPages wanted a set of retractable banners that could be reused for a variety of occasions.
GreenPages’ Director of Marketing Communications, Elizabeth Edwards, collaborated closely with Woody Husted at AlphaGraphics Portsmouth to outline the project scope and to identify the most cost-effective, yet versatile and durable set of branded products including traditional banners, wall signage, easel boards, and reusable retractable banners.
Retractable banners have the capacity to have the inserts refreshed, which is more affordable than purchasing new hardware each time. Taking advantage of this, the design of the GreenPages retractable banners did not include any event-specific information but rather featured inspirational quotes and compelling action statements that would be relevant in a variety of future events and trade shows. When the Cloudscape logo or event dates and details needed to appear, information was produced on less expensive, more temporary materials like easel boards or hanging banners.
To further help Elizabeth stay within budget, Woody engaged the reprographics department to produce the event schedule posters. The high-quality reprographics machines can produce color prints, when color matching isn’t necessary, at a lower cost—perfect for one-time posters and graphics such as GreenPages’ conference materials.
The Cloudscape event was a success and the hotel was transformed into a GreenPages branded space. The eye-catching set of four retractable banners have made subsequent appearances at tradeshows across the country and at a variety of internal company events.
